Online Personal Training…really?
It’s 2011 and you can pretty do most things via the Internet…order your groceries, purchase your entire wardrobe, work from home, watch you favorite programs, and WORKOUT with a personal trainer too! Yes, you can hire and work with a personal trainer virtually.
Many skeptics out there are probably thinking, how can working with a personal trainer virtually be effective? AND many fitness professionals are likely thinking, how is this safe? How can a trainer create meal plans…they aren’t dieticians? I know this because before choosing to offer online personal training services through FitOrbit, I was a one of those skeptics. FitOrbit is a website where you can purchase affordable packages that include online personal training and meal planning.
The reality is that not everyone out there has the money and/or availability to work with a personal trainer…especially moms, a large part of my clientele. I chose to offer my training services through FitOrbit to expand my reach. Now all busy on-the-go moms can train directly with me online and get completely personalized daily exercise and meal plans to fit their lifestyles, fitness goals, busy schedules and budgets.
Who are my clients? Having a special focus on pre & postnatal training, I do work with a lot of moms BUT I also work with other women and a few men of all ages. I have clients who are looking to lose a lot of weight and some who are at their goal weight but want to get stronger and leaner. Postnatal mamas and single sassy ladies! My diverse training expertise allows me to work with a wide range of people.
How is it safe? Although I can’t be right by my clients side watching them perform each exercise and correct their form when necessary, there are videos and careful instructions on how to perform each exercise. The way I look at it is, without this service, many of these clients would likely be doing at-home workout videos or using a plan from a magazine article. This is a pumped up version of that…the plan is specific to their needs and health & fitness history, it is clearly explained and I am there to answer questions and provide encouragement. As for meal planning..this whole component is designed by dieticians and provides safe and healthy meal options for everyone including people with many different dietary rescritions be it lactose intolerance, gluten allergies, etc.
What do my FitOrbit clients get?
